May Day baskets are a simple tradition rooted in community: a small basket filled with flowers or treats, left on a neighbor’s doorstep as a quiet way to say, “I’m thinking of you.” 

This year, we’re bringing that tradition to life with our first annual West Annapolis May Day Market - complete with a makers station where you can build your own May Day basket with fresh blooms and greens from local florists and nurseries (while supplies last). Bring your own basket or purchase supplies from vendors Fig & Flower and Right Field Farm.

What to expect: local boutiques open and stocked with fresh spring finds; seasonal bites from neighborhood favorites; a curated maker’s market featuring 10-20 local artisans and florists; and a chance to reconnect with neighbors and support West Annapolis businesses 

The event will be located in the parking lot behind West Annapolis Artworks & Fine Framing at 4 Annapolis Street, on Sunday, April 26 from 11 am - 2 pm.
