One of Maryland's oldest festivals, celebrating 60 years since the first Maryland Seafood Festival in 1966. Loads of seafood vendors, local shopping, live music, and contests including a crab soup cook-off, oyster shucking contest, crab cake eating contest, crab picking contest, and blue catfish eating contest. Skipjack Heritage Days runs alongside the festival with public deck tours, water tours, and a Sunday Skipjack Race viewable from East Beach. New for 2026: a Friday evening session (5-9:30 PM) in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, with discounts for military and first responders and live music from bands featuring members of four branches of the armed forces. Hours: Friday 5-9:30 PM, Saturday 11 AM-7 PM, Sunday 11 AM-6 PM. Kids 12 and under free.
