An elegant Halloween masquerade at a Caribbean restaurant featuring a passed hors d'oeuvres spread, curated open bar, and a smoked Old-Fashioned demo. Masks encouraged; 21+.
Le Petit Masquerade • Saturday, October 31 • 6-10 PM
An elegant Halloween masquerade at Rumhouse, Eastport's tip-free Caribbean restaurant and rum bar, recently named one of Food & Wine's standout new Caribbean restaurants in the U.S.
On the last night of October, Rumhouse keeps a different sort of hours. The lamps go low and the masks come on.
A DJ sets the tempo while the bar pours a short list of cocktails made for the occasion, alongside mocktails, wine and beer. Later in the evening, bar manager Alan Denniberg leads a live rum experience, a little theatre in glass and smoke. From the kitchen, Executive Chef Natasha de Bourg sends out passed Caribbean-inspired bites and food stations, beginning small and elegant and growing more substantial as the night goes on.
This is a masquerade, not a costume party or haunted house. Dress for the evening and arrive masked. Who you are behind it is entirely your own affair.
$140 per guest • Food and beverages included • Tip-free • 21+ • Masks encouraged
