Description

Celebrate our nation's 250th birthday, at the oldest building in the Smithsonian! Watch five live screenings of Ken Burns' The American Revolution documentary inside the 1735 Woodlawn History Center, a historic home located at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, Maryland. Each screening features a different set of clips from the series, curated by Maryland Public Television. Before or after the screening, you can explore the exhibits inside the home and learn about the families who lived and worked on the land.

Wednesday, July 8, 6:30pm-7:30pm - Spirit of Service and Voices & Visions (This screening will follow a live reading of the Declaration of Independence at 6pm. Separate signup required for the Declaration reading.)
