The Maryland Curiosity Lab is partnering with the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce for Commerce for the 4th Annual Children’s Business Fair. Registration is now open!

They started the fair in 2022 with 24 young entrepreneurs. Each year it’s grown—and last year, they simply ran out of space, so they are coming to Severna Park's Park Plaza. We are hoping to host up to 70 child-run businesses. Great sponsorships are available too!

Who can participate? How much does it cost? What are the rules?The Fair is open to all children ages 5 to 16. One of the most important rules of the fair is what parents can’t do. It’s a no-helicopter zone! No jumping in to help with a pitch or smooth things over—because whether a child succeeds or struggles, this moment belongs to them, and it’s where real growth happens.

The fair also serves as the grand finale of a 4-week entrepreneurship project at their school. It’s a good example of the kind of learning we love—projects that offer ownership, meaning, and the freedom to explore your interests.
